Disclosure:  I received this natural bar soap product for review purposes.  All opinions expressed are 100% my own.

Winter months tend to my skin very dry so I was very glad I had the opportunity to review the Red Currant Clove Naturally Bar Soap from one of the exclusive Dr. Woods Soaps!

Product Description:  Dr. Woods Soaps are good in all ways We want to feel special and indulged, without being wasteful of robbing future generations of our natural resources.  That’s why we strive to use only the most natural, effective and sustainable ingredients we can find.  We make everything here in the USA, but search the world sourcing the finest ingredients for our products to create a brand we believe in a brand that makes a difference by doing what’s right for you, your family and our planet.

I first took the bar soap out of the attractive packaging and smelled it.  I caught the aroma of the patchouli oils, which smelled great.  I used it as hand soap the first day and noticed it gave a rich creamy lather.  I kept feeling and smelling my hands throughout the day.  The fragrance was not overpowering but was just right and my hands were so soft.

But, I experienced the full benefits of the soap when I used it as a body soap.  The peppercorn was a mild exfoliation and felt so good using the bar.  I felt clean, fresh and revived  The soap does what is says.. it invigorates.  Hours after my bath, I was still smelling fresh, so it’s very long-lasting.  My skin felt soft and moisturized all day, no ashen-white skin here!

Also, I can actually read the ingredients and know what they are!  The Red Currant Clove Butter Soap ingredients include: palm oil, palm kernel and/or coconut oi, water, glycerin, red currant and peppercorn fragrance with oils of clover flower, patchouli, cinnamon leaf, lemon peel, orange peel, ginger and nutmeg, organic Shea butter, crushed peppercorn, natural mineral pigment pigment, clover flower oil, patchouli oil, lemon peel oil, orange peel oil, salt, vitamin E.

Conclusion:
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Woods Natural Bar Soap and absolutely loved it!

Its Gluten Free, 100% Vegan Product.  Free of paraben and phthalate, lauryl/laureth sulfates and has no petroleum derivatives.
