My immersion into the homeschooling world made me soon realize that organization really comes into play.  I was swamped the first month of homeschooling with assignment dates and due dates for my kindergarten homeschooler.  I kept missing submission dates which is not good at all for a parent.

I desperately needed some organization so I was relieved when I received the Order Out of Chaos 2013-2014 Academic Planner.   I used it as an academic and time management for both myself and my kindergartner.

The academic planner is designed differently than other planners that I’ve seen and it definitely gave me the visual overview of learning units my five year old needed to complete and also reminded mommy (me) of important submission dates and meetings.

This was such a time-saver to have everything written down in the planner. Our learning days went smoothly which made me and my son feeling more accomplished.The academic planner was designed so that I could write the subjects down one time and with every turn of the page I could see a whole week at a time. The planner is based on a grid block system for each subject. That feature alone made it so easy for us to manage our time and move a subject to later time in the week to not make the day so busy for a five year old.

Using the academic planner definitely improved our homework flow and actually gave us time to enjoy the day! I loved it and will use it for the rest of this school year.
